Ben and Company, a sole proprietorship
established in the 1950s, carrying on the
business of food trading and distribution.

Ben and Company was incorporated as a private limited company.

In August 1967, Ben and Company Limited
was listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange.
1984
Ben and Company changed its name
to QAF Limited.
QAF acquired the Gardenia
bread-making operations in Singapore.
1985
1986
The Gardenia bakery
operations expanded
into Malaysia.
1997
QAF set up Manila’s
first fully automated and
computerised Gardenia
bread plant.
QAF acquired the second largest
brand of packaged bread in Singapore — Bonjour.
2001
2001
QAF acquired the Rivalea
primary production operations
in Australia.
Rivalea was sold in 2022
QAF acquired Bakers Maison in Australia.
